Max Verstappen of Red Bull Racing has secured pole position for Sunday's Austrian Grand Prix, making it his third straight pole at the Spielberg circuit. In a chaotic qualifying session marked by crashes and penalties, Verstappen emerged as the fastest driver on track.
Verstappen Edges Out Surprising Contenders
Verstappen faced stiff competition from several unexpected challengers. Lando Norris of McLaren gave a brilliant performance to come within inches of the pole, but ultimately fell short by a mere 0.024 seconds.
