Minnesota Timberwolves Win Game One of NBA Playoffs
Timberwolves Take Early Lead in Series
The Minnesota Timberwolves have taken an early lead in their first-round NBA playoff series against the Phoenix Suns, defeating them 120-95 in Game One on Tuesday night.
The Timberwolves led by as many as 26 points in the first half and never trailed in the game. Anthony Edwards led the way for Minnesota with 31 points, while Karl-Anthony Towns added 29 points and 13 rebounds.
The Suns were led by Devin Booker's 27 points, but they were unable to overcome the Timberwolves' hot shooting and physical play.
Game Two of the series will be played in Phoenix on Thursday night.
