CBS Renews American English-Language Broadcast Rights for UEFA Europa League
Tournament Available Across Europe and Worldwide
UEFA Europa League Matches to Air on CBS Sports Network and Paramount+
CBS has renewed its American English-language broadcast rights for the UEFA Europa League, the network announced today. The tournament, which features some of the top clubs in Europe, will be available to watch across the United States on CBS Sports Network and Paramount+.
"We are thrilled to continue our partnership with UEFA and bring the excitement of the UEFA Europa League to American audiences," said CBS Sports Chairman Sean McManus. "The tournament is a global showcase for some of the best clubs and players in the world, and we are excited to provide our viewers with access to this world-class competition."
The UEFA Europa League is the second-tier club competition in Europe, behind the UEFA Champions League. The tournament features 32 teams, who compete in a group stage followed by a knockout round. The winner of the UEFA Europa League qualifies for the following season's UEFA Champions League.
The UEFA Europa League has been broadcast on CBS since 2015. The network has aired some of the most memorable matches in the tournament's history, including the 2017 final between Manchester United and Ajax. CBS will continue to air the UEFA Europa League final on CBS Sports Network.
In addition to the live matches, CBS Sports Network will also air highlights, analysis, and other programming related to the UEFA Europa League. Paramount+ will offer live streaming of all UEFA Europa League matches, as well as on-demand replays and highlights.
